The Cedar Rapids facility was built in 1973 under the name PDM Steel Service Centers. It was expanded for the first time in 1982 to facilitate the combining of the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids locations in order to better serve their customers.
In 2001 Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. purchased PDM Steel Service Centers, Inc. and in 2002, PDM Cedar Rapids became a division of Liebovich Bros. Inc., currently operating as Liebovich Steel & Aluminum Company – Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This comprehensive facility and staff helps us provide processing, products, and services to new and existing customers from a strategic north central Iowa location under our highly recognized and respected Liebovich service umbrella.
